Inspection
- Is a comfortable temperature between 22 - 27°C being maintained in accommodation spaces?
- Is a comfortable relative humidity between 40 - 60% being maintained in accommodation spaces?
- Are records of inspection, maintenance, cleaning and disinfection of the Air Handling Unit (AHU) being kept?
- Are the temperature gauges in good order?
- Are the capitation inlets for external air being provided with cleaned filters?
- Can the airflow be controlled at the individual outlets inside the cabins and public spaces?
Special Requirement
- Rightship requires the system to be inspected and maintained at least three months in line with MGN 38 (M+F) Legionella Bacteria Contamination of Ship's Air Conditioning Systems.
