- Is the muster list updated prior vessel's departure?
- Is the muster list being exhibited and clearly legible in all decks including Wheelhouse & ECR?
- Does the muster list include clear instructions in case of emergency for every person on board in working language and/or the language required by Flag State?
- Does the muster list include details of general alarm, public address system, abandon ship order as well as actions to be taken by crew, passengers & supernumeraries accordingly?
- Are Officers assigned for LSA / FFE maintenance being specified?
- Are substitutes for key persons being specified?
- Are muster station signs clear legible with proper IMO safety symbol?
- Is the crew aware of the primary & secondary muster station?
Common Poor Practices
- The officers assigned for LSA / FFE maintenance were not mentioned in Station Bills.
- The substitutes for key personnel were not mentioned in Station Bills.
- The Muster Lists were not updated prior to vessel's departure from the port.
- The Muster Station signs were not clearly legible.
