- Is the SART(s) in good operational condition?
- Is the SART tested at monthly intervals and proper entry being made in GMDSS logbook?
- Is the SART tested / serviced annually by shore technician?
- Is the battery in date and marked?
- Are the operating instructions clearly legible?
- Is the vessel's name and Call Sign marked on the unit?
- Is the proper IMO symbol being posted in the vicinity of the unit?
