• Is the plan re-approved after a change of management?
• Is the plan written in ship's working language?
• Is the crew familiar with their duties?
• Is the List of National Contact Points being updated on quarterly basis (31 January. 30 April, 31 July, 31 October)?
• Is a list of specific contact numbers (for DPA, Port Authorities, P&I Club, National Pollution Reporting Centers, Agent) readily available to the Master and posted in CCR?
• Is oil spill equipment inventory updated and posted in SOPEP locker?

Common Poor Practices

• The plan was not updated with the latest List of National Contact Points.
• The oil spiil equipment inventory was not updated.
